After a successful Buena Vista Community Theatre production of "The Sound of Music" in 2001, staged at the Roxy Theatre in Alta, Iowa, several involved in that show formed this troupe to provide a performance venue for some of the talent in the area, as well as to raise funds for the community theatre. With hopes of booking four or five shows, the group completed that season in August, having performed twenty-six shows. Now six years later – and with different shows produced every season – the group is going strong, and has done over 115 performances since its beginning.

Everyone in the troupe volunteers their time and talents, and all money made from these performances goes for equipment, costumes and donations to the theatre. Most of their performances are for private parties or celebrations, which have taken the group to over 10 counties in Northwest Iowa. This season's show is entitled: "ASPECTS OF LOVE: LOVE IN STYLE".
